I had bariatric surgery 4 days ago. Even though I had some family stay a few days, I live alone and this definitely helps for when I need to feed my kitty or bend down to pick anything up. Just make sure you get the right length for your height! I'm 5'11 ¾ and got the 43" but it's too long and awkward feeling for me. I think the 34" should be perfect. Also, mine was a little dirty out the package but other than that, it's perfect. 👌🏽

Didn’t think I needed a grabber like this… but it has been amazing… and I am so pleasantly surprised with it so far!!Our dog constantly leaves her toys around the house and I’m always bending down to pick them up. Some of her toys are quite heavy… but this things picked them all up like a champ!! We always had to grab chairs or climb in counters to reach the items that were stored in the farthest and tallest cabinets of our home. After nearly injuring ourselves one day we finally decided to get a reach grabber, and it’s been fantastic!This one has been perfect for us because it’s not only strong (we can reach for heavier items like bottles and packs of toiletries with ease) but it’s also very comfortable to use. The had rubber which cushions your grip when you squeeze. Did I mention that it also folds down to be put away? Yup, you can fold and unfold it for easy storage. I think my favorite part it that the claw/grabber has a textured rubber grip so its easy to grasp onto heavy or even slippery items. We keep it handy around the house and will likely get a second one for the kitchen. It’s a fantastic reach grabber if you’re looking for one!
I've only this grabber for a week, so I'm not sure how durable it will be overtime, but it has been a complete life saver since I broke my leg. I'm going to be stuck in an above the knee splint then cast for the next 2 months so simple things like picking something up off the floor or even getting dressed without help would be impossible without this thing. I love that it's foldable because I can fit it into a small crossbody bag I use when I'm up on my crutches with all my other important items. Honestly, it's such a simple thing, but I can't say enough about how grateful I am that such a small affordable tool could give me back some of my independence.
